AGI

AGS

The AGI is a reverse chine hull design which enhances handling by improving stability, ensuring a smoother ride, and enabling sharper turns. This is achieved by deflecting water spray away from the boat and generating lift through pressure build-up at the hull’s edges, particularly in the aft section. Essentially, this design allows the boat to grip the water more effectively, providing better control, especially in challenging conditions and during turns.

The AGS is a reverse chine hull design similar to the AGI but with a more aggressive radius leading into the chine. The tighter radius allows for more surface area between the radii which improves hole shot performance. Additionally, the increased flat area on the bottom enables a skilled operator to allow the boat slide or engage the chines for more agile handling depending operators preference or situational demands.

AGI'A

OAG

The AGI’A is a double hard chine hull, characterized by two sharp, angled chines on its sides, offers exceptional stability and responsiveness during turns, resulting in good maneuverability. However, this design can feel rough in choppy waters as the sharp chine angles may cause the boat to pound on waves. Additionally, this design also has sliding characteristics in shallow water.

The Original Air Gator is a soft chine hull which offers a more comfortable and stable ride in rough waters when compared to a hard chine hull. However, it sacrifices sharp turning ability and tight banking due to its gradual transition from the side to the bottom of the boat. This results in less aggressive handling characteristics, prioritizing stability and a smoother ride over maneuverability.
